A rendered scene can be very detailed, you can see for yourself on the Trillenium App store / Google Play market.
The end-user moves freely through the scene and the movement area can be divided into products and furniture. Each objects may be configured within within the scene dynamically (from the mobile phone of the end user) if there is a need for this.
The cost of the production is GBP 200,000 and the crew would need 4-5 hours of scanning and taking high resolution images in the showroom. The max room size shouldn’t exceed c. 200 square meters.
Virtual reality video is high-quality motion photography and provides much richer details than a rendered scene. Our partner is a Hollywood VR studio. But this format doesn’t allow any interaction or immersion and the user movement is very limited.
As the video is being played, the user is flowing with the camera through the scene at the exact way the director controlled. The user is able to go only back and forth, like playing a video forward and backward.
The cost of the production is GBP 200,000 and a one-day motion picture crew is included in the price. The crew can record and stitch (post produce) 3-4 hours of raw material which is suitable for couple of minutes of the video.
